🌟 The Struggle & My Entry into Vedic Astrology

My path into Jyotish Shastra was not born from curiosity alone — it was forged in the crucible of personal hardship. Despite achieving recognition in many fields, financial struggle remained an unshakable shadow in my life. This contradiction ignited the most persistent question in my heart: “Why?”

Why did success in work not translate into stability in life? Why did effort not always lead to reward? These questions became the fire that pushed me toward deeper self-exploration. In search of answers, I turned to books on Indian Vedic astrology, immersing myself for nearly half a decade in the study of zodiac signs, planetary movements, and the mysterious patterns that seemed to govern human destiny.

Yet, I soon realized that self-study, while valuable, had its limits. Vedic Jyotish was a vast ocean, and without structured guidance, I risked drifting without a compass. Determined to master this science with both depth and discipline, I decided to study under experts in a formal setting — a step inspired by the ancient gurukul tradition and the Western philosophical ideal of guided mentorship found in Socratic learning.

My first step into the academic world of Jyotish was at Viswa Jyotish Vidyapeeth – Indian Institute of Oriental Heritage Kolkata, where I studied for two years under the Astrological Research Project (ARP). Those disciplined years not only deepened my knowledge but transformed my perception — showing me that astrology is not superstition, but a precise and profound language of life itself.
